This rhythm-based game will have you play the role of a hero called Boyfriend participating in intriguing music duels. Each of your character’s steps will have the companionship of a pretty girl named Girlfriend. Can you outmatch music competition and win her heart? Plan to the top of the music universe now!

HOW TO PLAY

Like other FNF games, Friday Night Funkin’ VS. Tails.EXE enables you to enjoy music battles in both Story and Free Play modes. Each features distinct soundtracks with three levels of difficulty. In particular, apart from a short training session, Story mode offers the opportunity to fight the fox in a single game mode. The Free Play mode includes a tutorial and three tracks: Chasing, Darkness, and Sidekick.

Short Training Session

Both modes in this music game present tutorial tracks that help players familiarize themselves with the controls and gameplay. When playing training tracks, you can change the difficulty and choose one among three options:

Insta Fail: If you miss too many arrows, the game will end.
No Fail: The game will continue till the track ends regardless of you making mistakes.
Random Notes: You follow the random notes near Boyfriend.
